What started in my Lola Ana's Kitchen has been my passion project. Growing up in the Philippines, I would shadow Lola Ana's cook, Magdalena, as she shopped for, prepared and served one delicious meal after another. The one that stood out to me, of course, were her desserts. And there was only one that made me crave for more... flan! Years after Migrating to America, Magdalena shared her recipe and ever since, I have carefully re-produced it to call it my own. I think she would be proud, God rest her soul. Made in her loving memory, my hope is you will love it too.
